WGI Board of Directors Extends Independent Eligibility for 2021 Season

CCGC 2020 Championships Canceled

Hello all, As I've been talking about the past week, the Covid-19 situation has been incredibly fluid and changing literally hour to hour. Today as most of you have seen already, WGI canceled World Championships for all classes due to guidance from local and state authorities that holding the large scale event was not advisable given the rapidly evolving situation with Covid-19. Other circuits have been canceling events as well as late as today, and we expect more closures to follow given guidance that has been shared with us at a high level. CCGC 2020 Teresa Moura Invitational @ Oak Grove High School

As we come out of the WGI Regional break, we wanted to invite everyone to come out and see a staggering number of guard and percussion units in performance competition at the Teresa Moura Invitational @ Oak Grove High School. This is the second year that we'll be without the presence of one of the directors that helped shape the direction of the circuit as well as taught so many that moved on to continue teaching themselves, but the circuit continues to move on with her spirit behind us. Teresa will definitely be with every performer that takes the floor this weekend. We hope to see you there as well. The show starts at 12PM with Percussion kicking off the competitive day and guard starts at

THE CIRCUIT OF CHAMPIONS

The California Color Guard Circuit was established in 1964 with the objective "to promote color guard contests, thereby perpetuating pageantry and effectiveness of the member units".

2019 will mark the 56th season of competition for the Circuit. The C.C.G.C. has grown from the six charter units; Sacramento Capitolaires, Stockton Police Cadets, Raleys Raiders, Richmond Hawks,
Praetoriansand
the Rhythmettes, to a circuit of over 50 Color Guard units competing in 9 different classifications and over 25 percussion units in 8 different classifications.
