CCGC announces Tom Andrews as Chief Judge

The CCGC Board of Directors is pleased to announce Tom Andrews has been appointed as Chief Judge for the CCGC. Tom brings a wealth of pageantry experience and CCGC circuit experience with him in this role and we're excited to have Tom providing a focus on adjudication oversight as well as unit development and enhanced overview commentary. For those who may not be familiar with Tom (and for those who are!) here's a brief bio that covers the essentials: --- Tom Andrews has been involved with pageantry arts most of his life. THE CIRCUIT OF CHAMPIONS

The California Color Guard Circuit was established in 1964 with the objective "to promote color guard contests, thereby perpetuating pageantry and effectiveness of the member units".

2019 will mark the 56th season of competition for the Circuit. The C.C.G.C. has grown from the six charter units; Sacramento Capitolaires, Stockton Police Cadets, Raleys Raiders, Richmond Hawks,
Praetoriansand
the Rhythmettes, to a circuit of over 50 Color Guard units competing in 9 different classifications and over 25 percussion units in 8 different classifications.
